Thank you to everyone who came out to our joint church meeting last night at Olive Garden. We had a joint Administrative meeting followed by a joint SPRC and we just talked how both churches could better reach out to folks. It was good food and good conversation.

Christmas Eve services will be joint between St Mark UMC and Community UMC and it will be at St Mark UMC 4320 Twin Pines Road Portsmouth, come join us. at 5:00 PM.
Community UMC will be having a reception on December 21st at 6:00 PM at 37 Cherry Road. We will be having finger foods and celebrating a special time, please come join us.
Saturday November 17th at 4:00 PM Community UMC will celebrate Thanksgiving. The turkey will be provided and please bring sides to go with it. November 21st, Community and St Mark will come together at Community for our joint Thanksgiving service at 7:00 PM. The address for Community is 37 Cherry Road Portsmouth, VA 23701.
This Sunday both churches will raise up the names of the Saints that have passed before us. We will do this during our Joys and Concerns time. Please list your Saints and come join us.
Both churches will be passing out candy bags on Halloween so add us to your route and be safe. In addition, we will not have Kid’s Club at Community.
Just reminding everyone this Sunday is our cluster Charge Conference at Crossroads UMC at 1800 Rodman Ave in Portsmouth. This is the old West End UMC. The time is 2:00 pm.
