From Pastor Kirk: I just can’t express my gratitude for all of the support that you guys at both churches showed Sue and I during her brief illness. God may have gotten us through this trying time but you guys helped ease the journey at every turn. Your thoughts and prayers along with the things different people did made it easy to concentrate on her health and our time together.
We saw God beside us all trough this and often times it was in your actions. Sue’s death was premature and at a time when we were starting to look forward to slowing down and having some fun together but then this evil known as bile duct cancer struck from no where. For those who did not know Sue well, while she had broken each hip at separate times in life that was mostly it for major health issues. She had no health issues that were being treated or monitored long term.
Tonight we will visit, and tomorrow we will say goodbye to her earthly remains, but she is already in a new home, that house not made with hands eternal in the heavens. It is for us who remain back, to figure out how life goes on now, without our earthly contact with her.
